Some say it takes a village. And although Suzhou is just a bit bigger than a village, our school community is a supportive, open and collaborative place to learn and work. One of the greatest strengths of SSIS is our international community and the partnership between our teachers, students and parents. With 50 different nationalities, each with different voices, languages, backgrounds, and experiences, communication is key to creating a place where every voice is heard and everyone is welcome.

At SSIS we have several ways to communicate important information to you. On Orientation day you will be set up to access our SSIS platforms including PowerSchool, DragonNet, the SSIS Calendar and Grade Level WeChat groups. You will also be encouraged to regularly access the official SSIS Calendar, your student’s Class Blog, our Official WeChat subscription and our school’s electronic newsletter, The Dragon’s Den.
