We understand that finding the right school for your little one is one of the biggest decisions that you will make. So we would like to warmly invite you and your child to come and experience together an open morning at SSIS.
Learn more about our SSIS Early Years Center at one of our up and coming Early Years Open Events.
You will have an opportunity to tour our campus, visit our authentic learning environments, including our newly renovated Early Learning Centre for our 2-4 year olds.
Most importantly, you and your child will have an opportunity to explore and experience an SSIS Early Years environment. Understanding that children develop differently, you will see for yourself how our approach to Early Years Education nourishes the whole child including aspects of emotional, social, physical and cognitive.
Parents can learn from our highly experienced Early years educators presenting on how our approach in education develops life long learners and a love of school with feelings of success, while your child is able to explore a learning environment.

About SSIS Early Years Program
SSIS Early Years Program is specifically designed for the youngest international students age 2 to 6 years. It is delivered through play-based learning methods focusing on cultivating individual students holistic abilities, which encourage our youngest students to explore their environment, to be curious and to learn and develop understanding about the world around them. We believe the whole child needs to be nourished and this includes emotional, social, physical and cognitive. It is most important that these are nurtured at the child's unique pace. Children will engage in meaningful inquiries, interacting, sharing ideas, communicating, and cooperating with others.
As part of our daily programme, our Home Room programmes offer Literacy, Mathematics, Chinese/German instruction, differentiated to individual children. Our students also visit Art, Library, Music where they develop a love for expressing themselves through the Arts.
Our Physical Education programme focuses on building our core strength and muscle tone, giving us opportunities to be brave and take risks and learn to be apart of an active learning community so we understand that moving is good for our health and well being.
At SSIS, the child is placed at the center of all learning. Building on each child's strength and identifying areas for growth and development, teachers will differentiate the instructions to each child.
