Early Years
On June 11, our students from the Early Learning Center (ELC) to Kindergarten took the stage for their annual Early Years concert at SSIS.
On Thursday, the inaugural Early Years Flight Training Day launched with excitement as young learners and their families enjoyed a day filled with fun challenges and teamwork.
Recently, the G4 students had the delightful opportunity to visit the Little Penguins and Little Dolphins at PK.
Elementary School
On May 30, the SSIS Elementary School community gathered to celebrate two inspiring events that showcased the vibrant artistic talents of our students: the Performing Arts Assembly and the opening of the Elementary School Art Exhibition.
This year, the SSIS Elementary School captivated audiences with its delightful production of Honk! Jr., an adaptation of The Ugly Duckling. Over 70 enthusiastic students from Grades 2-5 participated, presenting two wonderful shows on June 5 and June 6.
Our SSIS community recently celebrated the incredible success of the Primary Years Programme Exhibition (PYPx) 2025, a culminating event that highlights student agency, inquiry, and real-world impact. This year’s exhibition was a vibrant showcase of 20 diverse student groups, each exploring unique passions and taking meaningful action in their communities.
Secondary School
On May 24, 2025, the SSIS community gathered at the Kempinski Hotel to celebrate the graduation of 69 members of the Class of 2025, marking the school's twenty-first graduating class.
The Layered Perspectives exhibition took place last week in the school foyer, featuring the innovative artwork of Grade 9 and 10 Visual Art students at SSIS.
To achieve this, SSIS focuses on creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences that leverage students’ cultural and educational backgrounds. By integrating their prior knowledge into the curriculum, teachers aim to make lessons relevant and accessible.
