SSIS offers a safe learning environment for children and adults, where children feel free to question their learning, and are encouraged to challenge their surroundings. Students are involved in all areas of school life beyond the classroom. We understand and value the trust that you place in us when you choose SSIS for your child.
Our Elementary School activities are available to all students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 (with some paid activities available to Pre K) and change with each semester. A wide range of activities are available including sports, visual arts, drama production, music ensembles, choirs and our elementary student service group Kids for Environment.
In-sourced (SSIS teacher led) After School Activities commence at 3:45 pm and end at 4:45 pm, outsourced activities (led by non SSIS staff) are scattered throughout the week – see the latest ECP Intuitive Booklet for more details on this. A reduced 5:00 pm late school bus service is available for students in Grades 2 and above. Please note this service does not take students to all compounds. Kindergarten and Grade 1 students participating in after-school activities are required to be picked up by a parent or caregiver at 4:45 pm.
