Ms. Jessica Yan started to play Cello at the age of 10. She studied under Professor Li Bin when she’s 15 years old. She was admitted by Soochow University majoring in Music Performance – Cello with the first place in score of Wuhan Province in 2020. And learn from Professor Leon Hilebrands ever since.
As a qualified cellist and Cello teacher, Jessica has won plenty of Cello competitions and gained rich experience of performing in orchestras. She has a calm and caring personality and she’s very passionate in education.

To help ensure student safety a parent must attend the Swimming sessions with their child, bringing them to the pool, remaining at the pool, and escorting them from the pool in the following circumstances:
- For all swimmers under Grade 2 for sessions held between 3:30 – 5:00 pm after school Monday to Friday.
- For all swimmers (regardless of Grade) for sessions held after 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and on weekends (Excluding Elite swimmers).
For younger swimmers parents will also need to help their child get changed, shower, etc.
G1-G5 Kids Coding - Robot - PA
Kids coding courses are funny, exciting and easy, which are very popular with kids ages 6-12. Kids coding curriculum includes robot building & programming control course and visual graphics programming course. It aims to train students' logical thinking and abstract thinking skills, improve students' patience and concentration, and enhance students' ability to organize information and solve problems.
- For students of different ages, kids coding teaching combines LEGO SPIKE robot programming tools (for ages 6-10) and SCRATCH graphical programming (for ages 9-12).
- LEGO SPIKE robot programming teaching simulates real situations, builds robots for life or industrial use, and makes them move by running programs, focusing on cultivating students' problem-solving skills.
- SCRATCH graphical programming teaching focuses on cultivating interest and exercising thinking, which is more interesting. Students can create their own animations, stories, music and games. This process is actually as simple as building blocks.
Kids coding instructor Steven Gu graduated from Southeast University with a major in Computer Science and Engineering, and then worked deeply in Singapore's industry. He has rich practical experience in software development, digital marketing, education and training, semiconductor applications, industrial manufacturing, financial analysis and other fields. And he has been integrating these valuable experiences into science and technology education for many years, hoping to train more young scientists and young engineers for the future.

This club aims to share artistic creativity and improvement with others and provide chances for students to create their own style of different arts without most of the limitations. Students will get support from SSIS DP art students who already have experience in art and it is a great opportunity for students to enjoy different types of art without stress. Students can use this time to do school art-related work as well. In this session, students will focus on exchanging paint challenges, tie-dye, and non-firing clay.

The organization will be focused on helping students in Grade 11 and 12 that have a significant interest in business-related fields enhance their student profile through external business competitions (specific competition TBD) for university applications, and the organization is aiming to help students prepare for business competitions; we strongly recommend students have prior business or economics(i.e., IB DP Business, IB DP Economics, AP microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, AP business or A-level business) knowledge to attend in this organization and to participate in competitions, all students will have to understand the competition modes and concepts. As business is strongly related with the world of economics, some of the competitions require both business and economics knowledge. The students will meet every week to plan for pre-documents and study for the competition.

This medical club is open to the students from G9-12 that are genuinely interested in healthcare. The purpose of this club is to introduce students to pre-med and the medical field, give guidance on volunteering opportunities, shadowing doctors, and compete in competitive events (HOSA) to prepare us for medical school and college applications. We wish to expose high school students with the healthcare industry with particular emphasis on senior assistant living, specialty hospital and surgical robotics and hence develop compassion and empathy for people and healthcare etc.

The Rock Band Programme is a creative activity that encourages students to collaborate with one another in a musical setting.
