Dear SSIS Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a restful and joyful break. Please note that school will be closed from Wednesday, October 1st and will resume on Thursday, October 9th, 2025.

We also want to remind you of two exciting community events happening immediately after the holiday:

Hangul Day – Friday, October 10th

Our Korean families, as they do each year, will lead us in celebrating Hangul Day, a special occasion to honor the Korean alphabet and culture.

Welcome Back to School Picnic – Sunday, October 12th

We warmly invite all SSIS families to join us for our community picnic. This is simply a time to gather, reconnect, and enjoy one another’s company. Please bring along your blanket, sunshade, and favorite food, and come ready to relax and celebrate together.

Safety in wearing your Lanyard

Finally, a gentle reminder: For the safety of our students, we kindly ask all parents to wear their lanyards at all times when on campus. This helps our younger students distinguish between a teacher, a parent, and a visitor, and ensures we maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

和往年一样，韩文日活动由我校韩国家长志愿者团队倾心打造。此项备受期待的年度活动能让全校师生了解韩文文字的由来并亲身感受韩国文化的独特魅力。

我们诚挚邀请所有SSIS家庭参加社区野餐会。这是一个共聚交流、重温情谊的美好时刻。请带上野餐垫、遮阳伞和心爱的美食，放松身心，共享欢乐。

佩戴挂绳须知
为保障学生安全，恳请各位家长在校期间始终佩戴挂绳胸卡。这有助于低龄学生辨别教师、家长与访客，并确保共同维护安全有序、和谐友善的校园环境。

다가오는 국경절 및 중추절 연휴를 맞이하여, 가정에 평안과 기쁨이 가득하시기를 기원합니다. 학교는 10월 1일(수)부터 국경절 방학을 시작하며, 10월 9일(목)에 정상 등교를 재개합니다.

방학 직후 진행될 두 가지 커뮤니티 행사도 함께 안내드립니다:

한글날 행사 – 10월 10일 금요일

매년과 마찬가지로, 한국 학부모 주도하에 한글과 한국 문화를 기념하는 뜻깊은 행사가 진행됩니다.

학교 웰컴 피크닉 – 10월 12일 일요일

SSIS 가족 여러분을 초대합니다. 이번 피크닉은 함께 교류하며 즐거운 시간을 보내는 자리입니다. 담요, 그늘막, 좋아하는 음식을 준비해 편안하고 즐거운 시간을 함께 나누시기 바랍니다.

출입카드 착용 안내

마지막으로 학생들의 안전을 위해, 학부모님께서는 교내에서 반드시 출입카드를 착용해 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 이는 어린 학생들이 교사, 학부모, 방문객을 쉽게 구분할 수 있도록 돕고, 모두에게 안전하고 환영하는 환경을 유지하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다.
