SSIS is larger than life! Spread across a spacious campus footprint, the building boasts integrated technology and air purification systems throughout. Our Art and Performance facilities include a 600-seat theater, black box theater, orchestra room, 3 dance studios, individual music practice spaces, and individual art carrels. Our Recreational facilities include 2 outdoor and 3 indoor playgrounds, 2 gymnasiums, brand new FIFA-certified soccer pitch, new synthetic 400M running track, 25M swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and 2 cafeterias. The Science and Design facilities include fully equipped science labs, Mac design labs for graphic design, food technology labs and hard materials labs. Our Learning Technology Center includes 500+ iPads to supplement teaching activities, charging stations, green room, podcast facilities and Lego robotics room. We are proud to have been early adopters of the 1:1 Apple laptop program for Grades 5-12 – ensuring students develop 21st Century technology and learning skills or as one Grade 5 student said best, “MACS for everyone!”
